Answer:

Each child will be get 3 pieces of candy.

4 bags of candy for 80 children.

Explanation:

Given:

Mrs. Adams gave each child about 1/20 of a bag.

And each has 60 pieces of candy.

Find how many pieces of candy will each child get?

Solution:

Child's would be get 1/20 of a bag.

So,
(1)/(20)\ of\ a\ bag = (1)/(20)* number\ of\ pieces\ in\ bag

=(1)/(20)* 60

=(60)/(20)

=3

Therefore, Each child will be get 3 pieces of candy.

Find How many bags for 80 children.

Solution:

Each child will be get 3 pieces of candy

So 80 children will be get
80* 3 pieces of candy.

Therefore, 80 children will be get 240 pieces of candy. and each bag has 60 pieces of candy.

Number of bags equal to Number of pieces of candy divided by 60. so the equation is.

Number\ of\ bag=(piece\ of\ candy)/(60)

Number\ of\ bag=(240)/(60)

Number of bag = 4

Therefore, 4 bags required for 80 children.
