Answer:

3(4x+1) is equal to 12x+3

2(2x-3) is equal to 4x-6

-(5x+4) is equal to -5x-4

4x+1=9: subtract 1 from both sides to get 4x=8. divide both sides by 4 to get x=2.

I do not understand the rest of the problem, sorry.

3x+1=2x+4: subtract 1 from both sides to get 3x=2x+3. then subtract 2x from both sides to get x=3

10x+4(x-3)=16: 10x+4x-12=16. then combine like terms to get 14x-12=16. then add 12 to both sides to get 14x=28. divide both sides by 14 to get x=2
