MO ≅ MO ……….{Reflexive property}

ΔAMO ≅ Δ BMO ….{ By Side-Angle-Side test}

∴ AO ≅ BO ...{corresponding sides of Congruent triangles or CPCT}

on substituting the values we get

`5x-8=3x\\\\5x-3x=8\\\\2x=8\\\\x=(8)/(2)=4`

Therefore the value of x is 4.
