Through out the Civil War they were fighting for many reasons one being slavery, some regions wanted to end it, others wanted to keep it. By the end of the war on December 6, 1865 the US Congress passed the 13th Amendment to the Constitution which abolished slavery through the United States. Meaning each person whom was a slave was now freed from being one.

So i would say it was affected positively. No one was longer doing work during burning hot or freezing cold weather.

Slavery was positively affected by the American victory; many slaves were freed from running away to simply being released from captivity. Through winning the Revolutionary War, the United States won its collective victory of independence and no slavery. However, that didn’t last forever. Civil issues arose and later there was another war deciding the presence of slavery.
