Answer:

given

p=q^3

p=40

______

q=(p)^1/3

q=(40)^1/3-->q=2(5)^1/3

Now

the value of half of q , (2(5)^1/3)÷(2) ,is 5^1/3.

finally the value of p gonna be

p=q^3

p=(5^1/3) ^ 3

p=5

Answer:

p=5

Explanation:

p is proportional to q^3

\frac(p_1}{p_2)=[
(q_1)/(q_2)]^3

(40)/(p_2)={
\frac{q_1){q_1}{2))^3

(40)/(p_2)=8

{p_2}=5
