Explanation:

the angular speed is the angle rotated by a unit of time, then 1 revolution is equal a 360° = 2πrad, so

ω=
18(rev)/(min)*2\pi(rad)/(rev)=36(\pi rad)/(min)

we can only use π/min since rad are dimensionless
