Sometimes ethos,pathos and logos can be used to make people believe things that are not entirely true .can you think of an example ?how can people avoid being tricked by faulty persuasion tactics?

people can be "tricked" by faulty persusuaion tactics by using ethi]os patos or logos becuase ethos is ethis and pathos is feelings and if someone has feelings they can be persuaded and logos is using logic and no one can argue with logic

A real life example that happened this year in Ethos was Shay Mitchell (a famous actress and instagram influencer) showing off a new make up remover, yet when she “used it” she actually didn’t and she pretended too. She got called out for it but that is tricking people because she tried to make people think she used it. You can actually look up the video and see it yourself. People can avoid being tricked though by doing their own research. Not only km the products main website but reviews, other websites, etc.
