Ramses II ascended the throne, in the first instance of his reign was focused on military maneuvers, gave the armies greater importance, being well trained and better treated, were also made fortifications constructions in the Egyptian borders that helped in the movement of troops and guaranteed security and protection to Egypt. Through his power as a pharaoh he created a new capital called Pi-Ramses in the central eastern Delta. All the nobility and army were redirected to this new headquarters, there were improvements made in the Egyptian arsenal that provided greater stability to the king's government.

The reign of achievements and prosperity of Rameses II the Great was the last peak of power in the Egyptian kingdom. After his death Egypt managed to maintain its sovereignty. He was a remarkable leader, military expert, and competent administrator and made the country prosperous in his reign. Some of his deeds, however, should certainly be brought to his advertising style, his name, and his battle records that were found throughout Egypt and Nubia.
