1) 20*3/5, use the rule a*b/c=ab/c

(20*3)/(5) =(60)/(5) =12

D is your answer

2) 1/5*8 =1.6, and 1.6 as a fraction is
1(3)/(5)

Just gonna show real quick how I converted this decimal into a fraction...

  • Split the number into its whole number component and decimal component, 1.6=1+0.6. .6=6/10, and 1 is a whole number, and 6/10 reduced is 3/5. So your answer is
    1(3)/(5).

3) Two thirds of 93 is 62, and you can word this as 2/3*93=62.

4) Three-fifths of 30 is 18, like the other problem, 3/5*30=18.

5) She has one liter cotainers and each of them are 2/3rds full. So to find how much sports drink is in 5 of the containers, you have to do 5*2/3=
3(1)/(3). You multiply 2/3 times 5 because each container has 2/3rds, and there are five containers.

Hope this helps, have a BLESSED and wonderful day, as well as a safe one!
