if both triangles are supposed to be congruent, you’ve got your sides for DEF mixed up. DE would be 10, EF would be 5 and DF would be 12. if they’re congruent, both triangles’ perimeters would be 27, but if not, ABCs perimeter is definitely 27.

The perimeter of ABC is 27 because AB+BC+AC= the perimeter, or 10+5+12=27.

The perimeter of DEF is 31 because DE+EF+DF= the perimeter, or 17+10+4=31
