The answer is: narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)

NPD is a personality disorder recognizable by exaggerated sense of self-importance, absence of empathy and continuing need for attention.

As for treatment options for this type of disorder, it is quite hard to convince people who suffer from NPD to go into therapy. Due to the very nature of this disorder, they rarely confess that they have a mental health issue. It has been estimated that about 1% of people suffer from NPD at some point in their lives.
