The mass of the object = m kg

The acceleration = a m/s²

Now, As The force is define as the product of mass and velocity

So, F = m × a

Now, Again , if the acceleration = 8 a

and The force decrease to
(F)/(2) = 0.5 F

So, Let The mass = M

∵ F = m × a

∴ mass =
(\textrm Force)/(\textrm acceleration)

Or. M =
(\textrm 0.5 F)/(\textrm 8 a)

or, M =0.0625 ×
(F)/(a)

∴ M = 0.0625 × m =
(m)/(16)

so, The mass =
(m)/(16)

Hence The mass of the object if body accelerate at the rate 8 a is
