If it is true that an energy bar can give some nutrients to our body, it is also true that it is better that these nutrients come from more natural sources such as fruits and vegetables.

In case of consuming highly fortified food products the risk that is faced is that multiple servings could lead to an excessive intake of some nutrients, and it is known that overnutrition is not possitive at all.

Overnutrition can lead to liver difficulties to process high amounts of certain components, such as vitamins.

Sometimes people consider that it is good to have a lot of vitamins because the more you consume the healthier you are going to be, however; this is just a myth since the body can just absorbe certain amount and the rest is excreted through urine, so if we consume a lot of the same component we are going to overload our liver and we will have it work harder causing damages at the end. In addition, not only our liver is going to face stress, but also different organs too.
