WHY DO YALL NEVER ANSWER AH POOP plz help

Paul plans to make some peanut butter sandwiches. He will put the same amount of peanut butter on each sandwich. Therefore, the amount of peanut butter that he needs depends on the number of sandwiches he plans to make. For example, to make 3 sandwiches, Paul needs 4.5 tablespoons of peanut butter. If he were to make 7 sandwiches, he would need 10.5 tablespoons of peanut butter. Calculate the constant of proportionality.
Type the answer as a decimal number to the nearest tenth.

Answer:

1.5

Explanation:

okay so 3 and 7 are the input/x values and 4.5 and 10.5 are the output/y values

so if you use the formula y2-y1/x2-x1 and fill in the variables you should get the answer:

10.5 - 4.5/7 - 3 = 6/4 = 1.5

so the constant of proportionality is 1.5

or if you divide 10.5 by 7 you will get 1.5 same goes with 4.5 and 3
