Answer:

The two integers are 15 and 17 .

Explanation:

Given as :

The two odd integers as , 87 more than the lesser is six times the greater

Let The first integer = x

And The second integer = x + 2

Now, According to question

First integer + 87 = 6 times ( x + 2 )

I.e x + 87 = 6 × ( x + 2 )

Or, x + 87 = 6 x + 12

or, 87 - 12 = 6 x - x

or, 75 = 5 x

Or, 5 x = 75

∴ x =
(75)/(5)

I.e x = 15

So, The first integer = x = 15

And The second integer = x + 2 = 15 + 2 = 17

Hence The two integers are 15 and 17 . Answer
