write in slope-intercept form (y=mx+b):

2y-3x-2=0

2y-3x+3x-2=0+3x

2y-2=0+3x

2y-2+2=0+2+3x

2y=2+3x

2y/2=2+3x/2

y=1+3x/2

reflexive property of equality:

y=3/2x+1

the obtained equation tells us that the slope (m)=3/2x and the y-intercept (b)=1
