Domain is the set of x values for which the function is defined and the range is the set of y values corresponding to the domain.

We need to find the range of the function, given domain.

The domain is given as 3 numbers : {-3,0,5}

We have to plug in these 3 numbers individually in "x" of the function to find corresponding y values (range).

First, -3,

y = (-3)^2 -2(-3) = 15

Next, 0,

y = 0^2 - 2(0) = 0

Last, 5,

y = (5)^2 -2(5) = 15

So the range is {15,0,15}. We don't have to put the same number twice (15), so we write the range as:

Range = {0,15}
