Explanation:

Here, In ΔPQR,

∠P = x°, ∠Q = 45° and ∠R = (x + 45)°

by ANGLE SUM PROPERTY of a triangle:

Sum of all interior angles in any given triangle is always 180°.

In ΔPQR,

∠P + ∠Q + ∠R = 180°

or, x+ 45° + (x + 45)° = 180°

2x + 90° = 180°

or, 2x = 180° - 90° = 90°

⇒ x = 90/ 2 = 45

or, x = 45

Hence, ∠P = x = 45°

and ∠R = (x + 45)° = (45 + 45)° = 90°
