Answer:

45 mph

Explanation:

Given: Distance travelled= 330 miles

Time taken= 6 h

Lets find out speed of car drove.

Formula;
Speed= (Distance)/(time)

Speed=
(330)/(6) = 55\ mph

Car´s speed is 55 mph.

As we have been informed that car´s rate of travel slows by 10 mph

∴ we have to reduce the current speed of car by 10 mph;
(55-10)= 45\ mph

The new slower rate of travel is 45 mph.
