Answer: 5y + 2x = -31

Explanation:

The equation of a line in point- slope form is given as :

y -
y_(1) = m ( x-
x_(1) )

x_(1) = -3

y_(1) = -5

m =
(-2)/(5)

Substituting into the formula , we have

y - ( - 5) =
(-2)/(5) (x - {-3} )

y + 5 =
(-2)/(5) ( x + 3 )

5 ( y + 5 ) = -2 ( x+ 3)

5y + 25 = -2x - 6

5y + 2x = -31
