I think it's important cuz you might be able to find someone else that wants to do that same thing and you might be able to help him out to as well as learning stuff that you may have not known for yourself too

It would be important to learn more about the career you want to do or learn more about a certain career, You can decide either if it's gonna be a good fit for you or not or even get insight to see how many people might do this job. (Not too sure of what the question may be asking here but I have somewhat of an idea however.)

Explanation: In the end it's important to get insight from others to see if your going to like it or not and get an idea of that certain career.
