Electra complex was given by Sigmund Freud in the theory of personality. The Electra complex comes under the phallic stage. Electra complex is the opposite of the Oedipus complex. Electra complex is for female and the Oedipus complex is for boys. In the Electra complex, Freud describes girl jealousy for the mother for the affection of the father. In Electra complex, At the very primary stage of development, a girl attached to mother but later on when she realized that don't have a penis. she blames her mother for castration of her.
