The main idea of capitalism may be okay, however, letting private owners manage the means of production is risky. When distributing the profits of large corporations among all members of society, the owners tend to be unfair. And it leads to extreme inequality in society. If people weren’t so selfish, this system might have worked.

I strongly believe that socialism is better, because it offers to cover the basic needs (housing, education, health) of the entire community, and it also uses fewer natural resources, unlike capitalism which is exploiting the planet earth by offering superfluous products and services that are accessible but keep basic needs out of reach for the majority of individuals.
