Help??

A house painter was mixing up different colors to paint his own house. He mixed 3 liters of red paint with 2 liters of blue paint to create purple. He painted his living room with 2,500 mL of paint. He painted his bedroom with 1,500 mL. How many milliliters of paint were left over after the house painter finished those two rooms?

Answer:

1,00 ml

Explanation:

first add 3 liters of red with 2 liters blue which makes 5 liters of purple. Then add 2,500 ml and 1,500 ml which gets you 4,000 ml. 5 liters of purple is 5,000 ml. 5,000 ml - 4,000=1,000 ml
