40/10 = 4

3 * 4 = 12

14) x = 63

90/10 = 9

7 * 9 = 63

15) x = 77

84/12 = 7

11 * 7 = 77

16) x = 5

54/9 = 6

Explanation:

Because the triangles are similar, the ratios for the corresponding sides are the same. Set up ratios and solve for x in each, like I did in my page.
