I personally believe that this war was worth it because it ended long term troubles for the United States (most of these issues were before the war even started). The British did not need to raid American ships because they had defeated France which meant that economic growth for America could continue. Additionally, before the war there was a threat of Native Americans, but during the war, American forces broke this Native American resistance. However, these things pale in comparison to the national pride and patriotism that surged throughout the country having avoided defeat by the British. Trading between the countries was as equals which meant that America could develop the nation without interference. Ultimately without the war, there would have been a chance that Tecumseh would be able to retaliate against the Americans, and the relationship between Britain and America would still be strained.
