A study of accountants and engineers completed by Frederick Herzberg resulted in what is known as two-factor theory. Herzberg theorized that there are two types of factors that are responsible for our satisfaction or our dissatisfaction at work, known as motivating factors and hygiene factors. Answer: According to Herzberg, by hygiene factors we can determine the dissatisfaction of the employees of a company, such elements would be: salary and benefits, the policy of the company and its organization, relations with co-workers, the physical environment, supervision, occupational safety; while in motivational factors we distinguish aspects such as achievements and their recognition and work independence
