It is well known that cancer is not a single disease. It follows then that cancer does not have a single cause. It seems more likely that the occurrence of cancer is triggered by the interactions of multiple risk factors. What are some identified risk factors for cancer?

Answer:

Cancer may be defined as the uncontrolled cell division and cells has lost the property of apoptosis. Two main types of tumor are benign tumor and malignant tumor.

The multiple risk factors that are associated with cancers are age, exposure to chemicals, virus that cause cancer and alcohol. Lack of physical activity and mutation that are caused by the exposure to harmful rays. The ingestion of tobacco and smoking are also the risk factor associated with cancer.
