Shilpa bought 30 T-shirts at a clothing store. 20% of the T-shirts were blue and 1/2 of the T-shirts were black. How many of the T-shirts were neither black nor blue?

Answer:

30/2=15 black

30/100*20= 6 blue

15+6= 21

30-21=9

9 were neither black or blue

30-20%=24 divided by 2=12
