The Barbary pirates:
Barbary pirates are those who came to Christian Europe, Arabs, barbers, and Muslims. They capture the trading ships and capture all the cargoes. They also capture the people for Ransom and sold them as a slave for money.
Barbary corsairs or Ottoman Corsairs are the other names for Barbary pirates. They operating mostly in the northern part of Africa.
American trading ships suffered more by Barbary pirates. More than 1 Million people were captured by the Barbary pirates and sold the to north African region.
