Assuming that features you see on mars are similar to features found on earth, is mars a livable planet for humans?

Beyond the characteristics of the surface on Mars, the main problems for living on the planet are its low temperature and that its atmosphere is very dim, so that the sun's ultraviolet rays will be a problem, besides that a human could not breathe on Mars without the help of special equipment.

For these problems, scientists have proposed ideas such as heating the surface creating a greenhouse effect and some methods to block ultraviolet radiation.

So living on Mars is a VERY difficult task, and it would mean a great human effort, but it is not impossible thanks to technological and scientific advances.
