We know that area of rectangle :-


\text{Area= length x width }

Let l be the length of the poster .

Substitute the above values into this , we get


504=\text{l}* 14

i.e.
504=14\text{l}

Divide both sides bby 14 , we get


l=36

Hence, the length of the poster = 36 centimeters.
