The purpose of a WAN is to connect two or more LANs is True.

True

Step-by-step explanation:

Normally to connect laptop or desktop or tablet each of us use network, to Connect, we use Wi-Fi or network port which is connected to LAN (Local Area Network). Once it is connected to LAN (Local Area Network) end user now can access files, media files etc. But access is based their connection authentication access.

If desktop or laptop or tablet needs to access outside the LAN (Local Area Network) we used to WAN (Wide Area Network). Based on authentication access end user now can access files, media files etc. So the purpose of a WAN is to connect two or more LANs.
