What do you think the most persuasive argument in the editorial about students texting at school is and why?

Answer:

It depends on what adults would think. There are many ups and downs to texting at school. Some positive things would be being able to tell there parents if there not feeling well or what score on a test they got. Of course there are some not so positive points like, Cheating on tests, bulling one another, and doing things there not so posed to do with there phones. If you ask me I would not let kids have phones during class and only in the hall or at lunch.

I think kids should have phones out only if there disrupting class or its an emergency. What do you think?

Answer:

This would depend on which side you are on, so if you are on the side allowing students to text at school, you can say it opens resources for students as well as a source of communication. However, personally I think that the argument that students shouldn't text would be easier because it has more evidence. You can say students can cheat, they can get distracted which will lead to bad grades etc
