Since the Industrial Revolution in America, the nature of work has changed deeply in the US. In many posts of work, machines replaced staffs but also innovation caused by the Industrial Revolution created other jobs.

The Industrial Revolution brought a series of advancements also in work rights, such as affordable healthcare, education, and better salaries. The concept of Labor Unions also changed and the government and employers stopped viewing them as a problem and started to work with them to reach a better understanding.
