Answer:

1) because A and B are supplementary

=> 2x + 4 + 3x + 16 = 180

<=> 5x = 160

<=> x = 32

with x = 32 => angle B = 3.32 + 16 = 96 + 16 = 112

2) see in the picture, because triangle ABC is the isosceles triangle => angle A = 180 - 2.47 = 180 - 94 = 86

we also have:

2y = 86

x = y + 47

=> y = 43

x = 43 + 47 = 90
