Answer: The ratio will be 4:1

Explanation:

If you give one side of your parallelogram the length of x and the other side the length of y and you multiply both by 2, you will get 2x and 2y. To find the area you multiply 2x and 2y which gets you 4xy. The original area is xy so the ratio is 4:1.
