Use slope formula: m = y2 - y1/x2 - x1
1st graph: (-4, -4) (4, 3)
m = 3 - -4/4 - -4 = 7/8

2nd graph: (-5, -3) (3, 1)
m = 1 - -3/3 - -5 = 4/8 = 1/2

So, the slopes for 1st graph is 7/8 and 2nd graph is 1/2.

Answer:

1. 7/8

2. 1/2

Explanation:

y2-y1 /x2-x1 = slope

1. points: (-4,-4) and (4,3)

M = (3+4)/(4+4)

M=7/8

2. points: (-5,-3) and (3,1)

M = (1+3)/(3+5)

M = 4/8 or 1/2
