Option D

If the zeros of a quadratic function are 3 and 8 then the factors of function are x - 8 and x - 3

Solution:

Given that zeros of quadratic functions are 3 and 8.

Need to determine the factors of quadratic function

Lets function be f(x) that is variable is x.

Zeros of quadratic functions are 3 and 4 means,

x = 3, x = 8 are solutions of f(x)

When x =3 ,( x – 3 ) = 0

When x = 8 , ( x – 8 ) = 0

Hence we can say that ( x – 3 ) and ( x – 8 ) are factors of polynomial f(x).hence correct option is D that ( x – 3 ) and ( x – 8 )
