Animalia is basic groups of living things that comprises either all the animals or all the multicellular animals while plantae is a multicellular organism that includes chloroplasts in its cells, which have a cell wall.

Animalia have their cells bound by a cell membrane with no cell wall, are all heterotrophic and show locomotion but a few are sessile. Plantae are organisms that manufacture their own food through photosynthesis, cells enclosed by a cellulose cell wall, plant body differentiated and rooted hence sessile.
