Answer:

A Two cities that are 7.5 cm apart on the map are actually 50 km apart.

D Two cities that are actually 66 km apart are 9.9 cm apart on the map.

Explanation:

3cm on paper to 20 km on land

Converted to cm.

3cm on paper to 2000000cm on land

If two cities are 3cm apart on paper it's is 20 km apart on land

For A.

So if it's 7.5 cm on paper it is

=( 7.5*20)/3

= 50 km apart on land.

For D.

If it's 66km apart on land

It is (66*3)/20 apart on paper.

= 198/20

= 9.9 cm on paper

It's just a cross multiply problem.

Hope it was the answer was helpful
