Brand A = $0.19 per pencil

Brand B = $0.18 per pencil

Better Buy = Brand B (costs less)

Explanation:

To find unit price for each, we divide the total with the number of pencils.

So, Brand A:

5.29/28 = $0.19 per pencil

And, Brand B:

8.47/48 = $0.18 per pencil

As we can see, Brand B pencils are around 1 cent less per pencil than Brand A pencils. So, we can say Brand B are a Better Buy.
