(5 points) Knowing that the ammeter must be connected in series with the circuit and the voltmeter must be connected in parallel, what does this tells you about the internal resistance of each device?

Answer:

This tells us that the internal resistance of the ammeter is very low because we would not want to impede the flow of current when trying to measure current. The internal resistance of the voltmeter must be high because it is added in parallel with the circuit and if added in series, it would cause resistance and alter the voltage reading.
