Everybody reacts to stress differently and every stressful situation is different. Stress can cause many diseases, especially ones that are heart-related, like high blood pressure, cholesterol, coronary disease, heart failure, etc.

Medicine has developed a lot, and prescribed medicine can do wonders but they are not so helpful when it comes to stress. It's always advised to people that lead stressful lives to go for a walk, exercise, maintain a positive mindset, to avoid smoking and binge drinking coffee and alcohol, have a balanced diet and normal body weight.

Some people decide to take tranquilizers as it seems easier, but it's only a short-term solution and it's always better to find a way to reach inner peace and get to know our body better.
