What is 3/7 +1/5 and how would I get it

Explanation:

1. find a common denominator

- for this you would multiply each of the denominators to each other as well as the numerators.

- (3*5 / 7*5) + (1*7 / 5*7)

2. 15/35 + 7/35 = 22/35

3. The denominator stays the same
