Answer:

( 3, -1) is coordinate of another point this line will pass through.

Explanation:

Here, slope of the line = 2

and the point (x0, y0) = (5,3)

So, by POINT SLOPE FORMULA:

The equation of a line is given as ( y - y0) = m (x - x0)

⇒Here, the equation is ( y - 3 ) = (2) ( x- 5)

or, y - 3 - 2x + 10 = 0

or, y - 2x + 7 = 0

Hence, the equation of the line is y - 2x + 7 = 0.

Now, another point that passes through the line is (3, -1)

because for (-3, 1)

-1 - 2(3) + 7 = -1 -6 + 7 = -7 + 7 = 0

⇒ ( 3, -1) is the solution of the given equation.

Hence, ( 3, -1) is coordinate of another point this line will pass through.
