Answer:

Blood pressure is measured by measuring the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of the blood.

When blood flows in the blood vessels some of the pressure is exerted on the walls of the blood vessel.

The systolic pressure can be defined as the pressure of the blood on the walls when the heart is pumping blood out of the heart.

Diastolic pressure can be defined as the pressure exerted when the heart rests in between the beats.

Both of the pressure is measured when the blood pressure is measured.
