The inequality of nights can Garcia stay is ≤ 7 nights

Solution:

Given, Mr. And Mrs. Garcia have budgeted $2800 for airplane tickets and a hotel for a family vacation.

Each round trip airplane ticket costs $415, and the hotel costs$155 per night,

We have to find how many nights can the Garcia's stay? Write an inequality.

Now, tickets cost for 4 members= 4 x 415 = 1660

Then, remaining budget = 2800 – 1660 = 1140

\text { number of nights }=\frac{\text { available budget }}{\text { cost per night }}

=(1140)/(155)=7.354

We can neglect fractional value, then, number of nights they can stay = 7

So, inequality for number of nights they will stay ≤ 7.

Hence, they can stay ≤ 7 nights.
