Volume = Mass ÷ Density

= 886 g ÷ 8.86 g/mL

= 100 mL

But,1 mL = 1 cm³

Therefore, Volume of the sample is 100 cm³

Step 2: Height of the sample

Volume = length × width × height

Rearranging the formula

Height = V÷ LW

= 100 cm³ ÷ (2 cm × 4 cm )

= 100 ÷ 8

= 12.5 cm
