(-5.9,-6.5)

Explanation:

M(x,y)=((x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2)

Here

x1=-8.5, x2=-3.3, y1=-8.8 and y2=-4.2

Hence

M(x,y)=((-8.5-3.3)/2,(-8.8-4.2)/2)

=(-11.8/2,-13.0/2)

=(-5.9,-6.5)

Hence midpoint of x coordinate is -5.9 and that of y coordinate is -6.5
